Faith in Action
Jesus said that the way to find life is to give your life away! That’s what the Pathways Faith in Action program is all about. We have the chance to be the hands and feet of Jesus, as we reach out and serve those around us.Faith in Action has become one of the most important ministries at Pathways. By taking the natural talents of our church members and matching them to important projects within our community, we have a unique ability to make a real difference.
School Beautification Day - PHOTOS
On Saturday, August 18 we participated in the 3rd annual School Beautification Day. We work with other area churches to help area public schools get ready for the back-to-school rush. Work crews were assembled and dispatched to all 9 schools in the Santee District, as well as Santana and West Hills High Schools. Projects included:- Landscaping Projects - weeding, mulching, planting and grinding stumps
- Cleaning Projects - sweeping, window washing and painting over grafitti
- Building Projects - a retaining wall, paths of pavers, a shade structure
- Special Projects - red paint on curbs, replacing outdoor basketball hoops at Santana
- Our Biggest Project - placing more than 25 tons of boulders on the West Hills campus, that they found when the excavation was done for their new pool
